SUMMARY

The cover of this number of magazine is related to the 70th anniversary of the organized speleology in Slovakia. The magazine "Spravodaj Slovenskej speleologickej spoločnosti" (Bulletin of the Slovak Speleological Society; shortcut of society = SSS) has been issued already for 45 years. Every next issue is bringing actualities from work of 50 caving clubs and 800 members of SSS as well as other interesting information. This issue contains for example the news from the 55th Caving Week of the SSS, which has been organized by members of caving clubs Červené vrchy, Nicolaus and Liptovský Mikuláš. More than 160 cavers from Slovakia, Czech republic, Poland and Slovenia participated in it. J. Šmoll and P. Holúbek inform about the event. Articles from speleological exploration and research of Slovak caves follow. P. Holúbek's article describes a new-discovered Abyss in the Low Tatra Mts., but mostly the history and circumstances of searching that locality. Another cave was discovered in the Nový vrch massif in Belá Tatra Mts.; P. Magdolen informs about it. A decade of exploration including the newest results of again-discovered Havranická Cave in Malé Karpaty Mts. describes A. Lačný in his article. Nowadays, the Slovak-Hungarian Cave System Domica – Baradla is more than 25 km long. An integral parts of it represent also Domica and Čertova Hole; interconnection of them has been remapped in order to delete inaccuracies in survey. This topic describes Z. Hochmuth in detail. Speleological maps represent integral components of articles mentioned above. The results of renewed speleodiving exploration in the caves of Demänová Cave System (which length arises to 39 487 m in November 6, 2014) in 2011 – 2014 summarizes P. Herich. The first long-lasting stay in cave within the former Czechoslovakia (in 1969, Michňová Cave, Muráň Plateau) mentions in retrospective D. Hutka. The participation at the international conference in Russia in May 2014 writes P. Holúbek about. He mentions about Shulgan-Tash Cave (known by prehistorical paintings), Kungur Ice Cave and Ordinskaya Cave as well. In the next article L. Vlček, J. Stehlíková and
B. Appelová inform about the international project Karst in Tourism & Tourism in Karst. Bulletin ends by the Social reports, Actualities and review of the book about the history of one of the oldest and most successfull clubs of Slovakia – Speleological Club Slovenský Raj.
